Good Hygiene

Proper Hygiene is the best way to prevent the spread of viruses. This includes:

1. Washing hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
2. Using an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.
3. Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
4. Avoid close contact with those who are sick.
5. Cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched objects and surfaces should also be done.

Masks

Remember to wear your mask when social distancing is not possible and when inside.

1. Do not touch your face (or mask). The mask must cover both mouth and nose. Take it off properly (without touching the front. Wash hands after removing mask.
2. According to the CDC, Cloth face coverings may help prevent people who have COVID-19 from spreading the virus to others. Wearing a cloth face covering will help protect people around you, including those at higher risk of severe illness from COVID-19 and workers who frequently come into close contact with other people (e.g., in stores and restaurants). Cloth face coverings are most likely to reduce the spread of COVID-19 when they are widely used by people in public settings. The spread of COVID-19 can be reduced when cloth face coverings are used along with other preventive measures, including social distancing, frequent handwashing, and cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces.
3. CDC also says recommends all people 2 years of age and older wear a cloth face covering in public settings and when around people outside of their household, especially when other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain.

Beginning June 10, 2022, the Raymond W. Bliss Army Health Care Center (RWBAHC) is transitioning COVID-19 Vaccinations from Mass Vaccination events in METS2 to the Primary Care Clinics at RWBAHC. Our facility will continue to provide both Pfizer (Adult and Pediatric) and Moderna COVID-19 vaccinations.
 
Active Duty students will receive their vaccinations at the Military Intelligence Student Clinic after consulting with their CADRE. At this time, the MISC will be vaccinating assigned personnel on the second Friday of the month.

Personnel assigned to Apache Ridge Clinic or Coyote Creek Clinics can call the RWBAHC Appointment Line at (520) 533-9200 to schedule a COVID Vaccination. The appointments will be on the fourth Friday of the month during regular clinic hours.

RWBAHC encourages all our patients to utilize the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal to access your health information at MHS GENESIS Health.mil. Through the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal, you can:  View your health information to include vaccinations, communicate securely with your healthcare team, schedule appointments, request prescription refills, and view laboratory results.

Below is the link for the new Covid Vaccine App that DHA has approved to book Covid Vaccination Appointments.   We are offering 1^st doses for Moderna Vaccine on 16 April 2021. We need this information to be released to RWBAHC Facebook/website/ Twitter and Fort Huachuca Facebook/ website. As we receive more vaccine we will update the site to reflect what we have available.
